About Us
Dr. Charles E. Bell
1943 -2020
Dr. Bell was a husband, father of two children, grandfather of six and God-Father of three, in which he was extensively engaged in their lives. He was married to his wife, Dorthy Jean Bell also known as “Jean”, for more than 55 years.
​
Dr. Bell was faithfully involved in his neighborhood association and president of his high school alumni, Southern California Region. He was a former member of the Los Angeles Sheriff Clergy and active in the Carson Chamber of Commerce for many years. He made himself available to participate in a number of positive organizations. He enjoyed traveling nationally and abroad.
​
Dr. Bell was the Founder and Pastor of El Shaddai Christian Fellowship Church in Los Angeles, California, for more than 34 years. He was engaged in the lives of his parishioners and the community. His mission was “teaching men, women, boys and girls how to live a successful life through biblical teaching”. He strongly promoted education, work ethic and a Christian lifestyle until his transition on December 9, 2020. Dr. Bell lived a life that touched many lives of all ages, in a positive way. He was an honorable, kind man who was loved, respected and appreciated for the light of life that he extended to others.

Dr. Bell was a professional barber, while earning his Bachelor Degree in Sociology (studies in Health Science) at the University of California State Los Angeles. He also attended law school, for one year, prior to accepting his call to ministry. Dr. Bell earned his Masters and Doctorate in Theology at Friends International University, as he continuously acquainted himself with Bible Study Ministries.

Dr. Bell exercised a life of encouraging and guiding others through biblical and positive teaching, enhanced with examples, that led to a healthy and prosperous lifestyle.
Mission
Our mission is to inspire and encourage, through educating patients and families, to advocate effective communication with their healthcare provider. To use their voices and effectively engage in treatment planning for their healthcare. Assist in providing referral information when appropriate, to help strengthen a healthy physical, mental and emotional life.
